Congratulations to Our Three Scholarship Winners!

Three members of UMassFive were awarded a total of $5,000 in scholarships recently, thanks to the Pioneer Valley Chapter of the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) and CU Student Choice. These scholarships are awarded to applicants based on academic achievements, community involvement, and a written essay.

Kevin Johnson, a senior at South Hadley High School, was awarded a $2,000 Michael Sullivan scholarship. Boasting extraordinary academic performance and test scores, and an active extracurricular schedule, Kevin plans to attend USC in the fall to study Political Science.

Sabrina Sam, a senior from Braintree High School, was awarded a $2,000 Kathy Hutchinson scholarship. With an impressive list of extracurricular activities and outstanding grades, Sabrina plans to attend the Bentley University honors program in the fall, majoring in Finance.

Eleanor Klitzke, a senior at Frontier Regional High School, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship compliments of CU Student Choice, the private student lending partner of UMassFive. Eleanor had an exceptional GPA and SAT scores alongside an active extracurricular life including volunteering her time at Dakin Animal Shelter. She plans to attend Wellesley College in the fall majoring in Astrophysics.
