Newsletter 2020 V1 Article - After 5 Networking Event
This past October our Commercial Services Division, headed by Jeff Simpson, VP and Chief Commercial Loan Officer, was thrilled to host the Amherst Chamber “After 5” networking event at our Hadley Branch. The event was filled with high spirits and energy, as the local business community came together for a night of networking and introductions.

The evening began in the Katherine E. Hutchinson Community Room, where chamber guests were able to drop off Halloween costume donations in exchange for entry into a door raffle. Once all of the guests had arrived, Jeff Simpson addressed the group in the main branch lobby—highlighting UMassFive’s range of commercial lending products, and other services that we offer to the local business community. Jeff was followed by guest presentations from UMass Women’s Assistant Basketball Coach Lynne-Ann Kokoski and UMass Men’s Basketball Coach Matt McCall about the upcoming basketball season.
By the close of the evening, Chamber event members had individually donated over 50 Halloween costumes to UMassFive’s annual costume drive, which directly benefits the Amherst Survival Center.
