UMassFive Sponsors UMass Hockey's Championship Banner Unveiling Game
On October 2, 2021, UMass Hockey opened up the new college hockey season in style! Right before taking the ice for their first game played since their 2021 NCAA National Championship victory, the Minutemen unveiled and raised their championship banner to a sold-out crowd at the Mullins Center. UMassFive was the presenting sponsor of the game, helping to add to the excitement by providing maroon “banner unveiling” rally towels to fans in attendance.
UMass Hockey played a hard-fought game against a strong Minnesota State team, but ultimately lost the opener 0-2. The Minutemen have since bounced back from the home opener. At the time of this publication, the team continues to be ranked nationally in men’s college ice hockey this season.
