Scammers are now targeting users with QR codes in emails and text messages.

Scammers are targeting consumers with fake “unexpected package” notifications that include a QR code. Scanning the code could lead to phishing attempts or even malware. Remember: If you didn’t order a package, don’t scan any QR codes from unknown sources. 


Always verify the legitimacy of the message and contact the sender directly. Stay safe and protect your personal information!
