If you haven’t done so in a couple years, schedule a no-cost Home Energy Assessment through Mass Save. An Energy Specialist will evaluate your home, recommend ways to improve efficiency, and identify rebates and incentives you may qualify for. You may be eligible to receive 0% financing up to $25,000 for qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades like weatherization and heat pumps. If your recommended improvements are eligible, you’ll receive authorization to apply for the Mass Save HEAT Loan through participating lenders like UMassFive.
 

Need help with other energy-related expenses? UMassFive’s Energy Loan can help finance improvements that may not qualify for the HEAT Loan, such as replacing an older furnace or water heater, installing a wood or pellet stove, or even pre-paying heating fuel for the winter.
