This football season, we’re once again teaming up with UMass Athletics to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the local businesses that help our community thrive. Through the UMassFive Small Business Spotlight Contest, we invite you to nominate the small businesses that you consider to be a true game changer—one making a meaningful and positive impact in our local communities.

One lucky small business will be selected as this year’s grand prize winner, receiving a $10,000 advertising package to be featured prominently during UMass Hockey and Basketball home games at the Mullins Center starting in December. The prize package includes arena digital signage, radio broadcast mentions, tabling opportunities, and more!

We’re proud to continue this program after last year’s success, when Amherst Cinema took home the advertising package prize. We can’t wait to see who will earn the spotlight this season! 

The winning business will be announced during the final UMass Football game of the season on November 18 ahead of Small Business Saturday. In addition to the grand prize, two other outstanding local businesses will each be awarded $500.
