Becky Howcroft was nominated and selected by her co-workers to be this edition's SMART Employee for the First Quarter of 2023.

Becky joined UMassFive in 1980 and is currently the most tenured employee on staff with nearly 43 years of dedicated service! Becky has spent the majority of her career in Operations providing exceptional support and service to our members. Here is what everyone had to say about Becky:

"Becky Howcroft is an amazing person who is a pleasure to work with. She is very dedicated to the Credit Union and all members with IRAs. She is most knowledgeable on the subject and always willing to lend a hand. She often helps in the Hadley branch with IRA questions and is always available if needed.”

“She is always getting special requests about IRA’s and handles each with care.”

“She recently got a 5 o’clock request on March 31st (Friday) from a member who had forgotten to make a required withdrawal. As always, even at closing time on a Friday, Becky helped the member with impeccable service and left a form for him to sign on Saturday.”

“Becky continues to be a major source of information regarding anything IRA related. She has a huge to-do list every day yet will take as much time as needed to assist with these sometimes very complicated accounts.“
