Tim Berryman & Emily Divins

were nominated and selected by their co-workers to be this edition's SMART employees for the Third Quarter 2023, and Fourth Quarter 2023.

Tim Berryman

Tim Berryman has been with UMassFive since August 2019, and currently holds the title of Payment Services Specialist in the newly created Digital & Payment Services department

“I have had numerous appointments dealing with [victims of] fraud, which can be very overwhelming, but with Tim, [it is] easy. From making spreadsheets so that filling out the forms is easier, to walking me through [quality control], Tim is a great value to the Credit Union, and I would have pulled all my hair out without him. Tim is always there to lend a hand with his wealth of ACH (Automated Clearing House) knowledge and never fails to shine as a leader of example. He serves our members by providing kind and patient support to UMassFive team members. During the operations team shuffle, he continues to be supportive and dependable on all fronts."

"Tim has been incredibly helpful each time I reach out internally with questions regarding digital and payment concerns. Tim always takes the time with me to explain something and is never bothered if he needs to [explain] a few times. I have honestly learned a lot from him and am filling out the [required] forms more efficiently and accurately thanks to his assistance.”

Emily Divins

Emily Divins joined UMassFive in December 2017, and was recently most promoted to Account Services Audit Specialist.

"Emily is one of those people that is fearlessly inquisitive. When something comes across her desk, she is looking into every detail of it, and for that, she is often the person who finds the mistake before it becomes a problem. When it comes to institutionally working as a team, we can’t work in silos and be effective. Where others might hesitate to reach out, Emily is happy to tap subject matter experts for efficiency. Emily is the quickest account service specialist I have seen. She is always quick and efficient with helping with anything you need and is always a delight as well."
